How do you create a clan in Knight Online?
- Go to the Inn Hostess in Luferson Castle or El Morad Castle at level 30 with 500,000 Noah. According to the in-game FAQ, the innkeeper in Moradon can't create clans.
- Click the NPC and choose Create clan.
- Type the clan name. If another clan already uses it, the game asks for a new one; spaces and special characters aren't allowed.
- Confirm, 500,000 Noah is taken and you get "You are now a leader of a clan".
Per the official guide a clan holds up to 50 members. Members of the same clan can party with no level restriction, but then players from other clans can't join that party. You can't create a clan while you're in another one.
How does the clan grade system work? How much NP for G3?
A clan starts at grade 5 and moves up as its members' NP adds up. Clan points are the members' total NP divided by 36. The NP required, per the table in the official guide:

A grade 3 (G3) clan needs 144,000 NP, which is 4,000 clan points. The table lists no fixed NP for Royal Knight grade 1.
How do you become Training, Accredited and Royal Knight?
- Training Knight Squad: the clan must be at least grade 3. You beat Caitharos in [Colosseum Manager] Athian's test; the NPC text also asks for 10 million Noah in dues. Details: Knight Online Training Knight Squad promotion test quest: requirements and reward.
- Accredited Knight: once you reach Training Knight grade 1, you beat Isiloon in the Abyss of Hell (Knight Online Accredited Knight Squad promotion test quest: requirements and reward).
- Royal Knight: once you reach Accredited Knight grade 1, you beat Felankor in the Cave of the Fire Dragon (Knight Online Royal Knight Squad promotion test quest: requirements and reward).
- The [Knight Clerk] in Luferson or El Morad raises the knight squad's grade.

How do you donate NP to the clan, and can you take it back?
In clans at Accredited Knight grade 5 and above, every member can save their own NP into the clan; you need more than 1,000 NP to do it. The saved NP is spent on clan grades and capes. If you leave the clan, only 30% of the NP you saved comes back. If you leave with a Contribution Restoration Certificate in your inventory, your contribution is restored; the Clan Contribution Certificate from the Power Up Store is exchanged at Kaishan for a 1-day version of that certificate (1,040 NPoints on the February 2025 PUS list).
How do you get a clan cape?
Knight squad clans wear capes, and the Cape Merchant changes their color and pattern. Costs from the in-game cape list:

For a clan symbol, put your image named symbol.bmp into the Symbol folder in the game directory and register it at the Cape Merchant; registering costs Noah.
How do you pass clan leader or make an assistant?
The leader can appoint up to 3 assistants (co-leaders), and assistants can invite members too. Leadership can only be handed to an authorized co-leader. The leader can't leave the clan without passing leadership first, and a clan leader has to disband the clan before deleting the character. Members leave with /Withdraw Clan, and the leader can kick members.
Is there a clan bank? Clan fund and loot splits
There's no shared clan storage in the game; the only official shared pool is clan NP. What players call the "clan fund" is the clan's own setup: shared Noah and items kept on a trusted character. Here's a simple split for income from Bifrost, Felankor or PK; the percentages are the clan's call, not a game rule.
