What do the NP symbols mean in Knight Online?
NTTGame's ranking pages keep two top-100 lists for every server and nation (Karus, El Morad): the Knights ranking by total NP and the Ladder ranking by this month's NP, the Monthly NP. Both lists use the same five classes, and the symbol's color tells you which band someone is in.

The reward figures are from the global USKO ranking page (September 26, 2026). Per the in-game help, these rankings pay a daily stipend by rank, collected from the [Knight Clerk] in your nation's castle: Delaga in Luferson Castle and Charel in El Morad Castle. The NPC descriptions say they handle stipends and promotions.
What is Monthly NP and how is it different from ladder points?
Monthly NP is the NP you've earned this month. NTTGame's Turkish announcements call it 'Ladder Point (Monthly NP)', so the two are the same thing. Total NP (CONT in game) builds up as you kill enemies and decides your knight rank and clan points. Monthly NP decides the month's ranking and some event entries.
- Ultima's Dungeon: entry needs at least 50 ladder points unless you have Premium (latest post September 17, 2026, Knight Online Ultima's Dungeon: event times, entry requirements and rewards).
- Draki's Tower: the game won't let you in without 30 ladder points.
- JR and the level 80+ BDW: a 100 Monthly NP entry fee was added in October 2022 on the Turkish servers (USKO); Premium players were exempt.
How do you farm Monthly NP?
Per the in-game help, ladder points come from killing players of the other nation in war zones like Ronark Land and Ardream, and dying costs you points. Killing someone higher level than you pays more and killing someone lower pays less; the dead player loses as many points as the killer gains.

- Items with NP bonuses, like the NP +3 option on wings (Wings and their bonuses).
- The [Analyst] Find the spy! quest in Ronark Land has given 200 ladder points since August 2022.
- NTTGame turns on extra NP for holidays: a +10 NP (Ladder/Cont) event on May 26, 2026 and a +5 Cont/Ladder event on April 30, 2026 on the Turkish servers.
Knight Online NP ranking: Monthly NP ranking and rewards
In some months NTTGame rewards the ladder ranking: July 2022, February 2024, July 2024, March 2025, July 2025 and August 2026. The latest one (August 2026) paid out:

Rewards go out by in-game mail at the first maintenance of the next month, and mail you don't claim within 30 days is deleted. The announcement also warns against changing your name or race near the end of the event, since the reward may not arrive.
How much NP do you need for a symbol?
There's no fixed threshold; the symbol follows your rank. For scale, the El Morad list on the global USKO server Zion looked like this on September 26, 2026: on the Ladder, 100th place had 33,252 points, 40th 65,775 and 10th 155,571; on Knights, 100th place had 3,452,635 total NP. On the Turkish servers the Gold to Mist thresholds depend on the server and the month. Check the current numbers on NTTGame's ladder ranking or the knights ranking.
How do you add a clan symbol? The 32x32 symbol
The NP symbol by your name and the clan symbol are different things. Clan symbols are for knight squad clans: put a 32x32 image named symbol.bmp into the Symbol folder of your game directory and register it at the Cape Merchant, which costs Noah.
