Raptor or Iron Impact: which is better?

Both are high class: their in-game description says "High Class (Reverse Changeable Item)", so after upgrading they can also go reverse. There's no class restriction on them, only STR. The table shows the differences using each item's in-game stats.

Raptor is 7 attack ahead at every grade (175 vs 168 at +7) and has half a meter more reach. It pays for that twice: the game shows Raptor's attack speed as "Very Slow" and Iron Impact's as "Slow", and at +10 Raptor needs 236 STR while Iron Impact needs 194. Raptor's STR requirement rises by 4 per upgrade, Iron Impact's by 2.

If you like dumping points into STR, Raptor's extra damage and reach are worth it. If you'd rather put points into HP, or your STR is borderline, Iron Impact is easier to carry at the same grade and lasts longer (10,000 vs 8,000 durability). It comes down to playstyle; neither weapon beats the other on every stat.

Raptor versions: Exceptional and Hepa's

The same weapon comes in stronger versions. Exceptional Raptor starts at 139 attack, Hepa's Raptor at 142 and Hepa's Exceptional Raptor at 144. Iron Impact follows the same pattern: normal 130, Exceptional 132, Hepa's 135, Hepa's Exceptional 137. STR requirement and speed stay the same.

There are level 75 high class weapons too: Khanjar (dagger), Buju (long spear, 146 attack and 202 STR at +1), Azagai (bow), Codex Gigas (staff), Moonlight (jamadar) and Ruahue (priest). Buju is the level 75 counterpart of Raptor.

Where do Raptor and Iron Impact drop?

No drop rate has been published. In the 19 May 2022 patch on the Turkish servers (USKO), NTTGame raised the drop rate of high class items from Booro, Balrog and Evil Wizard, so those bosses drop high class gear. According to the in-game chest lists, the Blue and Green Treasure Chests from FT and the Red Treasure Chest contain Raptor (+1) and Iron Impact (+1) (Forgotten Temple (FT) guide). Both can also come from the exchanges of the sin fragments carried by the Bifrost bosses (Fragment of Arrogance, Gluttony, Rage and so on) (Bifrost guide). The 2022 New Year event's Black Treasure Chest could also give high class items.

How do you upgrade high class items?

High class items go up to +10 with the Blessed Upgrade Scroll (BUS). The plain Upgrade Scroll stops at +5, and Trina's Piece added next to BUS gives a 100% success rate up to +5. What each scroll does and the burn rules are in Upgrade guide.

Which class uses Raptor?
There's no class restriction in game; the requirement is 200 STR. Warriors are the class that stacks that much STR, so Raptor and Iron Impact are known as warrior weapons.
How much attack is Raptor +7?
175. It goes to 187 at +8 and 235 at +10.
Where does Iron Impact drop?
From high class bosses like Booro, Balrog and Evil Wizard, from FT chests and from Bifrost fragment exchanges. The rate hasn't been published.
What's the difference between Raptor and Exceptional Raptor?

Where do you get scrolls for high class items?
