Is Warrior worth it on the new servers?

Before you pick Warrior, look at your wallet and your team. With a melee team it's a trouble-free job; without one the first weeks are expensive and lonely.

Short answer

With a team and a budget, yes: in the gearless first weeks a shield warrior is strong in PK and every party wants one. Not advised solo; potion costs are high and there's no Hell Blade or 75 skills.

Level 70 Warrior skill build

At level 70 you have 122 skill points. A tree takes at most 70 and the master tab at most 10, and master points come out of the same pool. Every build below adds up to 122; the difference is which skill you trade for which.

Where to level and farm as a Warrior

  • You're the front line of a melee EXP party; pull mobs onto yourself with Provoke and Binding. Route: Where to level 1–70 on the new servers.
  • The warrior farm players talk about is Half Troll Warrior (70) and Stone Golem (69) in Eslant; that's also where MP recovery weapons come up most.
  • To cut potion costs in the first weeks, make an MP recovery item the first thing you buy.

Warrior PK tactics

  • Keep the shield on; Iron Skin and the Defense passives protect more with it.
  • Leg Cutting on a runner, then Howling Sword; both are hits that never miss.
  • Berserker cuts your defense by 300; turn it on only with a priest behind you.
