Knight Online Krowaz crafting: weapon recipes, armor set bonus and materials

What are the Krowaz weapons?

Shozin's crafting list has 11 Krowaz weapons, all level 70. Warriors get Wirinom (two-handed sword), Baal (two-handed axe) and Nebiros (spear); Rogues get Raum (dagger) and Windforce (bow); Mages get the Fulitol, Molok and Faun staves; Priests get Leonar. Gab's Adamant (shield) and Nepilim (long spear) round out the list.

The same weapon drops under different prefixes: Undefeatable, Weak Giant, Chaos, Sweet Kiss, Restricted Diet, Lousy Pickpocket, Trainer Kate, Aztec Gold, Fire Rain and so on. The prefix is the weapon's curse; damage and bonuses stay the same, the curse effect is what differs. The global patch notes, for example, mention the Kaul transformation effect on Trainer Kate staves. A full list of curse effects has never been published.

How do you craft a Krowaz weapon?

1. Go to [Disciple of Hepa] Shozin inside Moradon castle (705, 578).
2. Open the recipe with "Check Manufacturing recipe" and make sure you carry the Blessed Stone for your weapon.
3. With everything in your bag, start the craft from the "Manufacturing" menu.
4. You can add a Shadow Piece: its description says it raises the combining success rate, but not by how much.

The stone's name tells you where it goes: Swordsman is for Wirinom, Fighter for Baal, Spearman for Nebiros, Assassinator for Raum, Bowman for Windforce. The fossil materials come in four families: horns for Wirinom, Baal, Nebiros and Nepilim; wing bones for Raum and Windforce; ribs for the three staves; jawbones for Leonar and Gab.

Can Krowaz crafting fail?

Yes, it can. Shozin has both a success and a failure message, and the success rate has never been published. Even farmed materials have a market value, so compare the total material cost with the price of a finished weapon before you gamble.

How do you make the Krowaz set?

Armor pieces come from the same Shozin menu. The recipes are listed under generic names such as "Krowaz Upper Garment"; Krowaz armor exists in Warrior, Assassin, Mage, Priest and Portu versions and every piece needs level 75. The frames and materials are described as "material for Armor of Legends".

A full set costs 14 Fantastic Cubes, 34 Giga Hammer's Fragments, 34 Cuff Binder's Hides and 16 Scarlet's Moss, plus one frame per piece. The top eats the most cubes (4), so if you build the set piece by piece, gloves and boots tie up the least material.

What does the Krowaz set bonus give?

If you don't have all five pieces, smaller combination bonuses apply. For a Warrior, the four pieces without the top (Half Set) give Max HP +350, Max MP +300, STR +15 and HP +8; the full set raises Max HP to +600.

Where do Krowaz materials come from?

• Dredium and Draki materials: you break the Draki fossils in Ronark Land with a Mattock. Shozin makes the Mattock; his dialogue asks for 1 million Noah and 100 CONT.
• Nightmare Crystal: it can come out of the seven sin fragments from Bifrost (Fragment of Arrogance, Gluttony, Rage…) when you break them at the Chaotic Generator; see the Gem guide.
• Blessed Stones, Dredium and Draki materials can also come from dismantling unique or high class items at Narki: Narki guide.
• Krowaz's Fantastic Cube, Giga Hammer's Fragment and Cuff Binder's Hide are named after the Krowaz monsters. According to the official notice, since May 18, 2023 these monsters spawn in a chain in Ronark Land: killing Cuff Binders spawns Giga Hammer, killing Giga Hammers spawns Krowaz, and they can drop Krowaz items.
• The item descriptions don't say where Scarlet's Moss and the Fantastic Frames drop; the market is the fastest route.

How do you craft a Krowaz weapon with a Cursed Weapon Material Box?

The June 16, 2022 update added a second route: buy the weapon's "Frame of Cursed" from the general store (Sundries) and bring it to Shozin with one Cursed Weapon Material Box, no Blessed Stones or fossils needed. The notice lists the frame at 52,500,000 Noah. According to its description, the Material Box can come out of the Gold Rimmed Blue Treasure Chest, a Forgotten Temple reward that [Trader] Julia opens.

The same chest can also give a Cursed Weapon Box. Hand it to Julia with 100 million Noah and you get a random Krowaz weapon; you can't pick which one.

How do you enter the Krowaz map?

The Krowaz map no longer exists on USKO. On May 18, 2023 NTTGame removed it on the Oreads, Minark and Destan servers; the monsters moved to Ronark Land and were enabled on Dryads in the same update. For server differences, see USKO Krowaz, Bifrost and Eslant: server differences.
