What time and day is UTC in Knight Online?

UTC runs once a week, on Friday evening. The in-game calendar and the NPC text agree: sign-up at 20:55–20:59 Turkish time, opening at 21:00. NTTGame's game guide also says the dungeon is open on Fridays from 21:00 to 01:00.

On NTTGame's global USKO servers the same event opens at 17:00 server time; if you play on the Turkish servers, go by the times above.

How do you enter UTC? Step by step

  1. Before 20:55 on Friday, be in your nation's castle area (Luferson or El Morad Castle). NTTGame's guide places the entry NPC, [Twilight Knight] Linguist, in these two areas, and per the global notes you won't be moved in if you're on another map.
  2. Between 20:55 and 20:59, pick the Under the Castle application option in the NPC menu. Clicking it again after applying just tells you the application is complete.
  3. Enter the one-character captcha (global notes, December 2025): a letter or number, no refresh button, and everyone gets it, Premium or not.
  4. At 21:00 the selected players are moved in automatically: half the spots go to the first applicants, the other half are drawn from the rest.
  5. According to the current NPC text, nobody can enter after that selection; miss the sign-up and you wait for next Friday.

The system took this shape in 2022: on July 28, 2022 sign-up moved to the NPC and the spots were split into first-come and random draw, and on August 11, 2022 the window was cut from 10 minutes to 5. Since August 25, 2022 you can't bring a second character in from the same IP.

What are the UTC entry requirements?

  • Level 75 or higher (NTTGame guide).
  • Premium, or 500 Ladder Points (Monthly NP): per the in-game NPC text, non-Premium players lose 500 when they apply, and another 500 if they apply again. NTTGame also announced it in its May 2023 global notes as 'Premium users excluded'.
  • Being in the Luferson or El Morad Castle area at opening time.
  • One character per IP.
  • A correctly entered captcha when you apply.

What's inside UTC? Sections and bosses

UTC has four sections and four bosses. Both nations share the map: in August 2024 NTTGame even enabled whispers between Karus and El Morad on it (global notes).

Alongside the bosses you'll meet elite mobs like [Elite] Sipahi Heavy Calvary and [Elite] Kapikulu Royal Guard. [Twilight Knight Guard] Martin appears in the last room. The UTC-only Fire bomb and Ice bomb items work only inside this dungeon, and a Life's crystal, per its description, lets you revive in UTC with no death penalty.

Our take: go in with a full party. The in-game NPC text itself warns that Pluwiton's army is strong and needs a good, big party. Your damage share on bosses matters too: per the April 2025 global notes, the more damage you deal to the main bosses, the better your chance of getting the loot.

UTC rewards: the Trophy of Flame and the UTC box

Winning the fight against Pluwiton's army earns a Trophy of Flame, which its description calls the trophy for that victory. Opening it gives a random item, and per the in-game exchange list the pool is mostly old weapons like Mirage Dagger, Durandal and Slayer plus Chitin armor pieces.

Per NTTGame's March 2024 global notes, a player who wins a Trophy of Flame at Rebirth 11 or above gets a Trophy of High Class Flame instead. That trophy is broken open by [Twilight Knight Guard] Martin in the last room, and in April 2024 a 'Trade [Trophy of High Class Flame]' option was added to [VIP Manager] Juliane as well. The High Class pool includes the level 80 named versions of the UTC Khanjar, Azagai, Ruahue and Adaga.

Each weapon has a normal level 75 version and a level 80 version that carries your character's name. Their descriptions call them Under the Castle's powerful weapons, and NTTGame still uses them as the benchmark: it introduced the April 2025 Steel Lion weapons as 'equivalent in power to Under the Castle event weapons' (global notes).

There's one more route besides the trophies: if an event or box gives you an Under The Castle Weapon Voucher, Kaira in Moradon swaps it for a UTC weapon (per the item description). Finishing the UTC achievement chain with 'True Owner of the Castle' unlocks the Castle King title (HP +3).

FAQ

What day is UTC in Knight Online?
Only Friday at 21:00; the calendar has no other UTC run. FT also opens that evening at 22:00, but its sign-up is at 21:55, so if you're in UTC you'll miss it and the 03:00 FT is your next shot.
What level do you need for UTC?
Level 75 per NTTGame's guide. Characters at Rebirth 11 and above get the High Class trophy instead of the normal Trophy of Flame.
I applied for UTC but didn't get in. Why?
You may not have been drawn, you may not have been in the castle area at opening, or you were non-Premium without 500 Ladder Points. A second character from the same IP isn't accepted either, and entry closes once the selection is done.
Which items come from UTC?
Seven weapons: Khanjar, Moonlight, Buju, Azagai, Codex Gigas, Ruahue and the Adaga shield, each with a level 75 normal and a level 80 named version.
How do you open the UTC box?
The High Class trophy can be opened in two places: Martin in the last room or Juliane's trade menu. The normal Trophy of Flame pool is mostly old weapons, so if you're after a UTC weapon, reaching Rebirth 11 is the real goal.
Can you enter UTC as a party?
Sign-up is individual and the selection is first-come plus random draw, so there's no guarantee your whole party gets in. Everyone should apply at 20:55 and the selected players form the party inside.
