Which new server should I pick?

Server selection opened on October 29 and the screen shows no names: only server1, server2, server3 and server4. All four open with the same rules (level 70, +8), so the only difference is who goes where. Per NTTGame's notice, mind one thing: the order of the servers on the selection screen is random. To decide:

Update: the names came out on November 4: Carnac, Luna, Oracle and Atlas. Pick by name now and agree with your team on the name, not the number: the new server names.

Server choice by situation
Your situationWhat to do
You have a team or a clan Don't trust the number: the order on the screen is random. Your server3 may not be your friend's server3; pick together once the names are out
You'll play solo Stay away from the server where big alliance clans and streamers gather; that's where farm spot and PK pressure will be
For the market and trading A crowded server means a livelier market; but prices fly faster there in the first weeks
You're undecided You can wait until your friends' and clans' choices are clear; but don't leave it to the last day
Short answer

All four servers open with the same rules: Carnac, Luna, Oracle and Atlas. The on-screen order is random, so a number isn't the same server for everyone; agree on the name with your team. One server per account, limited changes.

Why are there no server names?

NTTGame wrote that the names will be announced “at a later date” but gave no date; the order on the screen is random too. Players read it this way: with names, everyone would pile onto a familiar one like Ares or Diez; with numbers, people pick by team or clan. Name guesses and the old server names: Are the USKO new server names out? 4 servers confirmed, will Ares and Diez return?.

Can I change the server I picked?

Only a limited number of times. The selection screen says two things: an account can register on only 1 new server, and your chances to switch are limited. NTTGame hasn't written how many changes you get in 2026.

The 2022 rule is a guide: a chosen server could be changed twice, but not after you created a character on it. This time characters are created on November 10–11, so lock in your server before November 10.

Can registration close if a server fills up?

It did in 2022. On December 12, 2022 NTTGame stopped new registrations to Agartha and Zero for a while to balance the servers and avoid long queues. No such rule is written for 2026; the NTTGame team said on October 29 that quota changes will be announced. If you want to join the same server as your team, move fast on the day the names come out.

Is waiting until the last day smart?

Some players wait for the last day to see where streamers and big clans go and pick the opposite. It's a fair tactic with two risks: a crowded server may close to new registrations, and SMS verification may get busy in the last days. Selection is open until November 12; finish it before you create your character.

How to pick your server

  1. Sign in on the new server page; your pre-registration and OTP+ setup must be done.
  2. Enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your phone.
  3. Pick one of server1–server4 and confirm; the order can differ for each player. Step-by-step registration: How to pre-register for the new Knight Online servers.
