Have the USKO new server names been announced?
Not yet. NTTGame's October 1 posts and its new server page only say "new servers"; they don't give the number of servers or their names. The page has a countdown, the sign-up calendar and access rules, but not a single line about names.
The best hint about timing is the calendar: server selection starts on October 29, and players will pick their server by name on that screen. So the names should be visible by then at the latest. In 2022 the names were known before launch too; NTTGame's November 16, 2022 notice mentions Agartha, Pandora and Felis "as you know".
How many new servers will open?
The number hasn't been announced; the post says "servers", so more than one. Past waves give an idea: three servers opened in January 2019 (Altar, Vega, Sirius). In 2022 three servers opened first, and a fourth, Zero, followed three weeks later. In December 2022 NTTGame paused sign-ups to Agartha and Zero for a while to keep the new servers balanced.
Knight Online server names list (USKO, 2026)
Until November 12 there are eight USKO servers. The list grows when the new ones open; a comparison of today's servers is in Which Knight Online server should you play on? 2026 USKO server list, best server and differences.

What happened to the old server names?
If you're looking for an old server, follow the merger chain. Some names were used twice: Olympia opened in both 2005 and 2016, and Diez came back in 2015 as the name of a merged server.
- Diez (2004), Cypher and Olympia (2005) → Resurrection on August 6, 2013.
- Resurrection and Ephesus → Diez on July 23, 2015.
- Ares, Diez and Gordion → Oreads on March 9, 2023.
- Olympia (2016) and Rosetta → Minark on February 9, 2023.
- Altar, Vega and Sirius → Dryads on February 23, 2023.
The Steam version has its own chain: Hellsgarem, Cypher and Pathos became Zion on December 8, 2022 (What happened to SteamKO Cypher and Pathos? The Zion merger). All the dates are in Knight Online server opening and merger dates.
Where do Knight Online server names come from?
NTTGame doesn't explain the names, but there's a clear theme: myth and legend. Pandora and Ares come from Greek mythology, Agartha from the legendary city beneath the earth, Dryads and Oreads from the forest and mountain nymphs. Vega and Sirius are among the brightest stars in the sky, Gordion and Ephesus are ancient cities of Anatolia, and Destan is simply Turkish for "epic". We'll see whether the new names follow the same theme once server selection opens.
Which server should you pick once the names are out?
- Go where your friends or your clan go. In 2022 the server was locked once you created a character, so if you split up there's no way back.
- Pick your server between October 29 and November 12, and create your character on November 10–11. The steps are in How to pre-register for the new servers.
- Plan for crowds. In 2022 sign-ups to the most popular servers were paused for a while; if you wait until launch day you may not get the server you want.
- Think about your nation in advance. The game can temporarily lock one nation to balance populations and warns "That Nation cannot be selected".
