How long is each ban in Knight Online?

Each row's penalties escalate from left to right: the first offense gets the first penalty, repeats get the next one. "Permanent" means the account is closed for good.

The rules end with a note: in exceptional cases, game masters can change any rule or penalty length, raising or lowering it.

What gets you banned most often?

Two things stand out. First, there's no warning step for cheating: an account that modifies game files or uses a third-party program is closed on the first offense, and the September 23, 2026 ban wave on Zero was based on exactly that rule. Second, the penalty isn't limited to one account: accounts that share an IP, phone number or computer ID with a closed account can be punished too.

The Discipline Dungeon, which players call prison, mostly comes into play for macro and NP offenses. If you see "You will be sent to jail due to 3rd party tool usage." in game, that's why your character is being sent there.

Can you get banned for a macro mouse?

Yes, if you use it in the game. The rules say you can install keyboard and mouse software on your PC, but using their macros in Knight Online will get you punished. Binding a single skill to a key and pressing it yourself is fine; turning that key into a macro that fires on its own is not.

When the game suspects a macro, it shows a question and waits 5 minutes for your answer. Close the game without answering and your character is sent to prison.

Can you get banned for using Genie?

Genie is a built-in feature and fine for normal farming. Using it in events is what's banned: the rules count Genie in events like JR and BDW as bad-faith play, with escalating bans starting at 3 days. For setup, see the Knight Genie guide.
