How do you get Sheep Looking Kauls?
- A 10% chance in front of Moradon.
- A 20% chance when you kill an enemy-nation player.
The 2022–2024 notices also listed a 1% chance while hunting monsters. That line is gone from the 2025 and 2026 notices, so the current sources are Moradon and PK.
The 2024 notice added rice cakes to the Kaul hunt: Mugwort Rice Cake (attack +5%), Cactus Rice Cake (defense +40), Pumpkin Rice Cake (NP +4) and Gardenia Rice Cake (HP +250). The 2026 Turkish notice doesn't mention them; NTTGame's 2026 global notice lists the same four.
What are the Fugitive Kaul rewards?

Per its in-game description, the VIP Safe Key opens VIP storage and works in the field with the /safe command, not just at the inn. The Menisiah reward was called Menicia's Official List in the 2022 notice; in game that list lets you search merchants for items.
Careful: the 10-Kaul option hands in every Sheep Looking Kaul in your bag toward Kaul's mother, including the ones you were saving for the 100-Kaul rewards. Carry only 10 Kauls when you open boxes.
Our take: collect 100 for the VIP Safe Key first, then another 100 for the Menisiah reward, and only then switch to 10-Kaul boxes.
When and where does the Kaul Mother spawn?
Once the server's players hand a total of 10,000 Sheep Looking Kauls to Kate, the Kaul Mother appears on Mora Island in Moradon. She's much stronger and angrier than regular Kauls. Her reward depends on the server:

Event items are deleted when the event ends, so hand in any leftover Kauls before it closes.
When is the Fugitive Kaul event?
Fugitive Kaul comes once a year, in late spring or early summer. The 2022 and 2023 notices gave four-week dates; the 2026 Turkish notice has no end date, and NTTGame ran the same event on the global servers from May 6 to June 3, 2026. The last Turkish run started on April 29, 2026; going by past years the next one would be spring 2027, but only an NTTGame notice will confirm it.

Kate's rewards haven't changed since 2022. What changed: the drop sources (the 1% monster drop is gone) and the server names for the Kaul Mother reward, updated after server merges.
