When is Knight Online getting a new server?

There's no official date. Since 2023 there hasn't been a new server announcement in NTTGame's news, on Steam or on the official social accounts. "New server coming" talk on forums and in videos stays a guess until NTTGame says so.

Only NTTGame decides, and in the past the announcement came very close to launch: some servers opened just 3–6 days after they were announced. So silence doesn't mean a server will never come; the official channels are what to watch.

How did new server registration work? The 2022 pre-registration and launch timeline

The most recent and most detailed launch was in 2022. NTTGame announced it step by step:

  1. October 6, 2022: the countdown started with "new servers open on November 17".
  2. October 20, 2022: pre-registration for the new servers opened.
  3. The sign-up guide said only accounts with OTP enabled could enter the new servers.
  4. November 7, 2022: server selection started.
  5. November 17, 2022: Pandora, Felis and Agartha opened; Zero followed in December.
  6. Early 2023 the old servers merged: Minark on February 9, Dryads on February 23, Oreads on March 9.

Will a new server open in 2026?

Nobody can say for sure right now. Past waves were far apart: 3 years and 10 months between January 2019 and November 2022, and about 3 years and 9 months have passed since November 2022. That similarity doesn't mean a launch is close; NTTGame set the date itself every time.

The September 23, 2026 ban wave got players talking about a new server again, but NTTGame hasn't linked the bans to one. On SteamKO the last change was the Zion merger in December 2022, and there's no new server announcement in the Steam news.

Where will a new server announcement show up first?

  • NTTGame's Knight Online site and the news in the game launcher.
  • Knight Online's official social accounts: @KnightOnline on X, knightonline on Instagram, KnightOnlineWorld on Facebook and the Knight Online NTTGame YouTube channel.
  • In 2022, pre-registration and server selection ran on official pages. Don't enter your account details into "new server sign-up" links from forums or messages.

What should you get ready before a new server?

  • Set up OTP now. In 2022 there was no way into the new servers without it. Setup is on NTTGame's OTP page; for errors see the OTP error guide.
  • Keep your account email and phone number up to date; sign-up and support run through them.
  • Decide on your nation early. The game can close a nation to keep populations even: "That Nation cannot be selected to ensure populations are balanced."

Is Knight Online getting a new server in 2026?
As of September 25, 2026 there's no official announcement. In the past the announcement came between 3 days and 6 weeks before launch, so keep an eye on the official channels.
What were the last new USKO servers?
Pandora, Felis and Agartha on November 17, 2022, and Zero in December 2022.
Which servers merged?

Why can't I get into the new server?
At the 2022 launch only accounts with OTP enabled could enter the new servers. If OTP is on and you still can't get in, the in-game messages and other causes are in the "can't join a new server" section of Knight Online OTP error: OTP is not active, TimeSync and can't join a new server.
