What does error 10060 mean in Knight Online?
The game's own message is "Failed logging into the … server. (…)": the server name goes in the gap and the number in brackets is a Windows network code. So the number isn't a Knight Online code at all. The common ones:
| Code | Meaning | Usual cause |
|---|---|---|
| 10060 | Connection timed out | The server isn't answering: maintenance, an outage, or your network can't reach it |
| 10061 | Connection refused | The server is down or not accepting connections |
| 10053 | Connection aborted on your PC | Firewall, antivirus or the network adapter closed the connection |
| 10054 | Connection reset by the other side | The server dropped you, or your modem/ISP reset the connection |
At the launcher stage the same problem shows up as "LogIn Server Connection failed! Please retry connecting!". If it fails after you pick a server you'll see "Successfully connected to … server but failed logging into the game.": the server was reached but the character login didn't complete.
Is everyone getting it? Check that first
10060 usually hits everyone at once: maintenance nights, outages and attack periods lock out the whole server. Fiddling with your modem won't help then; wait for the announcement. Maintenance times and messages are in Knight Online not starting or disconnected from server: error messages and official fixes.
If you play from abroad there's one more cause: NTTGame's support notice About Connection Problems from March 3, 2025 says DDoS traffic from abroad hurts server stability and causes connection problems for players outside Turkey.
How do you fix error 10060?
If it's only you, try these in order. The first two fix most cases:
- Close the game and the launcher completely and restart your PC.
- Turn your modem off for 5 minutes; on most lines you'll get a new IP. Players report this as the fix that works most often.
- Flush your DNS cache or switch DNS: NTTGame's 2020 connection problems notice suggested flushing the DNS cache or using 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 as a temporary fix for login problems on some internet providers.
- Allow Knight Online through your firewall. Don't turn the firewall off; allowing the game is enough.
- Try your phone's mobile hotspot. If that works, the problem is your home network or your ISP.
- Still stuck? Do what an NTTGame moderator officially suggested: uninstall, restart the PC and reinstall from the official download page.
- If it keeps happening, open a ticket on NTTGame's support site with the code, the time and your internet provider.
Login Server Connection Failed and Connecting… please wait
If the launcher says "LogIn Server Connection failed!" or the login screen hangs on "Connecting…", it's the same family: the game can't reach the login server. The steps above apply. Also make sure the launcher is up to date; an old client can't take the update and never gets to the login. For patch errors see Knight Online download and install: official download page, system requirements and first launch.
What do Disconnected from server (0, 3, 69, 70) mean?
NTTGame hasn't published a list for the numbers next to "Disconnected from server". What we do know is that the message usually comes in waves. On the Steam version, NTTGame's team said on July 26, 2026 that "Error Code (0)" was a server problem when connecting to the game and that it had been fixed, and it investigated the disconnect wave of September 19, 2026. During a wave, don't log out: people who leave can't get back in until it's fixed.
If you're the only one disconnecting all the time, your network is the usual suspect; disconnect messages and the official steps are in Knight Online not starting or disconnected from server: error messages and official fixes.
Is it the same on Knight Online on Steam?
Yes, 10060 and 10061 mean the same on the Steam version. For the Steam version's own login codes (-18, -8, -95, -99, 255) see SteamKO error codes.
