Knight Online login error messages

Security and program detection messages
These come from the game's security layer: a program that can't run alongside the game is open, or a cheat program was detected. Macro and cheat programs get accounts banned; messages that mention HackShield are leftovers from the old security system, and the game uses XIGNCODE3 today. For XIGNCODE errors see XIGNCODE3 error.

FAQ
Why are the error messages in English?
Even on the Turkish client most login and system messages are in English, so these tables keep the exact wording you see.
My message isn't in the tables. What now?
Note the exact text and any code in brackets, check Knight Online errors and fixes: OTP, won't start, won't patch, trading locked first, and open a support ticket with a screenshot if you can't find it.
What does "Please restart KnightOnline if you are running 3rd party programs" mean?
A program that can break the game is running. Close macro, recording and overlay software and restart the game.
What does "The account is currently in use" mean?
Your account looks logged in elsewhere. Confirming drops the previous connection; after a crash, wait a few minutes and try again.
